Text Information

Siglum

Transliteration
l qym bn mrʾ bn ẓnnʾl
Translation
By Qym son of Mrʾ son of Ẓnnʾl

Interpretation

Commentary
The m of qym resembles a g, clearly differing in shape from the same letter in mrʾ. At the end of the inscription, there are three marks that resemble bn r. This might mean that the inscription was left unfinished, nevertheless they could reasonably be interpreted as unrelated marks on the stone or errors by the author.

Associated Drawings
Possible quadruped figure (without head); lightly scratched she-camel with curled tail
