- Translation
- By S²rk son of Ms²dt and his brother was appointed commander far away and so he was anxious and so O Lt [grant] a reunion
Interpretation
- Commentary
- The verb tʾmr could be tafaʿʿala (V) Form taʾammara which in Arabic can mean “to be appointed commander” (Lane 96c). For the translation of qbll as “[grant] a reunion” and qṣf as "anxious" see Al-Jallad 2015: 333 and 334
