Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- LP 438: Littmann took the end of Is.L 71 (= LP 439) as the end of Is.L 70 and the beginning of Is.L 71 as a separate text.
- Commentary
- Area A. Is.L 70 was probably written after Is.L 71 because the author was hampered by the presence of this text. See Is.L 67. The omission of the definite article before s¹l is almost certainly because it was assimilated to the preceding 3ms enclitic pronoun. Thus *was¹aq-uh-s¹s¹ayl.
