WH 41
Text Information
- Siglum
- WH 41
- Transliteration
- l ʾny bn dmṯ{r}
- Translation
- By ʾny son of {Dmṯr}
Interpretation
- Commentary
- The final letter is identical in shape to the lām auctoris but could equally well be a r. However in view of the clearer examples of dmṯr in WH 882 and ISB 373 this is the more likely reading. On the etymology see ISB 121 comm and BRISB p. 220. [MCAM]
