- By S¹lm son of ʾgʾ son of ʾlh son of Hʾs¹ son of Zgr and he grieved for his companions the year that {Kmn} was killed and he pastured the inner desert ----
Interpretation

- WH: w n{s¹}{ʾ} ʾbʿr "and {guarded camels}" at the end.
- Commentary
- Apart from the r, the final letters have been hammered over but there is not sufficient space for the four letters WH restore
- Provenance
- WH Cairn 17 and this inscription were rediscovered and photographed by the Badia Epigraphic Survey in 2018 and the co-ordinates given are exact.
