Interpretation
- Commentary
- L and n are very clearly distinguished in this text with many of the l's being of exceptional length. Although WH read the second name as nġft comparison of the first letter with the n of bn shows that it must be a l. The fifth name lġft is unattested and could be a dialectal variant of nġft. This is supported by the fifth name where again comparison with the n of the preceding bn shows that it must be nbʾt in place of the usual lbʾt.
