Interpretation

Commentary
The text was not published by WH. It is incised vertically below the male camel. The second letter is probably a ʾ, though there is an incomplete line across one fork. The third letter has a shallower curve than the b of bn and so has been interpreted as a r. The penultimate letter is more angular than the b of bn and has a horizontal line, which may or may not be intentional, protruding from one side.

Provenance
WH Cairn 23 and this inscription were rediscovered and photographed by the Badia Epigraphic Survey in 2018 and the co-ordinates given are exact.

Associated Drawings
One male camel and two female camels
