WH 2322 l mdṭ {s} ṭṣr bn ṯḥmʾl zḥl  Translation: By Md{t} {son of} {T}ṣr son of {Y}ḥmʾl. He has moved away

Commentary

WH emended the text in several places, assuming the author made several mistakes "employing the ṭ-sign for Ṯ and the ṯ-sign for y and writing the first bn incorrectly, the n being written across the b." In fact, there are several other Safaitic texts in which the b of bn has a stroke across it, making it look like a ḥ (e.g. WH 1631, 2484, 2662, etc.). The letters after {ṣ}ḥmʾl are unclear on the photograph.
