Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus
WH: bn for bt
Commentary
Curiously on WH's photograph the word between the names looks very much like bn with a little damage to the left of the vertical. However, on the BES18 photographs it looks more like bt with a clear projection to the right of the vertical (with the same patina) which does not seem to be there on WH's photograph.

Provenance
WH Cairn 34 and this inscription were rediscovered and photographed by the Badia Epigraphic Survey in 2018 and the co-ordinates given are exact.
