Interpretation

Commentary
This is on the same stone as WH 2996 but was not recorded by WH. The first three letters are joined by a horizontal stroke. It is difficult to identify the penultimate letter. Both b and r have much larger and shallower shapes, if the reading of the first name is correct.

Provenance
WH Cairn 39 and this inscription were rediscovered and photographed by the Badia Epigraphic Survey in 2018 and the co-ordinates given are exact.
