Text Information

Transliteration
l zd n kḥy w bdr h- ʾf my m- ḥrn
Translation
By Zd {son of} Kḥy and he hastened from the Ḥawrān towards the new growth [and] water

Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus
WH: w bdr h- ʾf ml m- ḥrn - and he hastened towards the new growth having become tired of the Ḥawrān.
Commentary
The central stroke of the fourth letter is identical in form to the rest of the letter but it is different from the ḥ of kḥy in that the central stroke does not project. It was presumably an error by the author for b. The letter read as l in WH after ʾ f m is clearly a y. Could h- ʾfmy be ʿthe Apamaeanʾ??
