Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus
WH: s¹br for s¹rr
Commentary
The reading of the inscription is complicated by the fact WH 3641 has been carved between its letters and in one case, the s¹ of WH 3641, one side of the s¹ crosses the b of the bn WH 3640 making it look like a k. WH read the first name as s¹br but comparison with the b of bn shows that it must be s¹rr.

Provenance
WH Cairn 46 and this inscription were rediscovered and photographed by the Badia Epigraphic Survey in 2018 and the co-ordinates given are exact.
