Interpretation
- Commentary
- The y of ṣbḥny has been made with multiple incisions. The ethnicon has not been found before in Safaitic but is attested once in Hasaitic: {ḏ}[ʾ]//l/ṣbḥn/ // ḏʾl/ ḫḍn/ (Ja 2146/1-3). However with no vocalization it is impossible to tell whether the name is the same in both texts and if so whether there is any connection between the two.
