- WH: w ḫl for w ḫr
- Commentary
- A reading l rḏy bnt ḥdl "By Rḏy daughter of Ḥdl" would be possible were it not for the verb in the 3rd person masculine singular suffix conjugation at the end of the text. Note that neither the lām auctoris nor the l of ḥdl have a hook and it so it is likely that the final letter of the text is a r not a l as read by WH. For ḫr compare Arabic ḫāra (< ḪYR) "he was good" (Lane 828c).
