Interpretation

Commentary
By a son of the author of LP 359 (= Is.M 141). Note that in LP, LP 373 and 374 (= Is.M 142 and 143) have been separated from LP 358 and 359 (= Is.M 140 and 141) even though they are on the same stone. LP 359 begins on the ridge between two faces and runs onto the face bearing LP 374 (=Is.M 143) and the end of LP 359 (= Is.M 141). The second half of LP 359 has been damaged by abrasions but is still legible. Note that the abrasion which runs across the g gives it the appearance of a ṯ on the photograph but its original shape is still clearly discernible on the stone.
