Interpretation

Commentary
The d is slightly damaged by hammering. The inscription is unfinished probably because there was no space in between the other inscriptions on the rock. Presumably ʾṯ at the end is the first part of the word ʾṯr and the author had intended to write that he had found the traces of someone.
