Interpretation
- Commentary
- The lines of the ʿ are slightly doubtful and there is a line after the ḫ which is presumably extraneous. It is not absolutely certain that the letter read as the initial l is the first letter of the text as it is written on the edge of the rock and it is possible there are letters before it on another face which was not photographed. Equally, it might be a continuation of KRS 2274 although it is difficult to see why the author wrote the l on the edge of the rock and not after the b of ḥbb.
