By Mlk son of Mḥrb son of ʿḏr of the tribe of Tm and he recognized the inscription of his maternal uncle Ġṯ, so he was devastated by grief for him and he grieved for Bnʿtm who had been killed and so O Lt [grant] vengeance

Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
AAEK 130 reads bnʿtm as "son of ʿtm" rather than as a personal name, and restores the t in qtl which is missing on the copy from which he was working, though it is clear on the photograph that it had originally been omitted and then added by the author.
