Interpretation

Commentary
The interpretation here is speculative and assumes that the Ġṯ who perished was his elder, or only, brother and that after his death the author became the eldest son who would have favourable inheritance rights see Musil 1928: 662–665. The same statement recurs in ASFF 281 where the author is also mourning for ġṯ.
