Interpretation

Commentary

The final line is likely the signature of the author (Hayajneh and Prioletta 2018: 286), which is so far unique in inscriptions of this type. The identification of ṣʿb in the last line is unclear. Hayajneh and Prioletta discuss two possibilities: 1) the god ṣʿb, who is previously attested in Hismaic inscriptions or 2) a personal name, giving their preference for the latter (2018: 286).
