Interpretation
- Commentary
- The upper half of the inscription is badly effaced. An m and possibly an r are apparent, forming the final two letters of a personal name. The inscription is a signature associated with the oryx being chased by dogs, and so the substantive should be corrected from dmʾt to dmyt, which is the common way of referring to rock art.
