Interpretation
- Commentary
- The name tḥʿk violates Semitic root constraints, but the reading is certain. It is possible that the inscription should be read in an unformulaic matter as l-tḥ ʿk bn gnn 'may ʿk son of Gnn have long life', or that the name tḥʿk should be parsed as a compound: tḥ-ʿk. Ahmad Al-Jallad
