Interpretation

Commentary
The inscription is surrounded by letters that do not seem to make sense as part of the inscription. Following l qdm, there are two letters leading downwards that might be read as bn, followed by qd. This would give a reading of l qdm bn qd, nevertheless, following qdm, there is a w an an inscription that seem lead upwards. The first letter has been read as a n, but could also be a very narrow s¹. Josef Bloomfield
