Interpretation

Commentary
The first letter of the author’s name seems to be a large hammered ẓ, following which, the author switched to a chiselling technique. The final letter of the author’s name is almost certainly a l, but curves below the ʾ. The patronym is very unclear. There are two diagonal lines, the bottoms of which are covered by abrasion. Following this there is a large letter that looks like a f. Following this, there are a number of scratches but it is unclear which are letters in the patronym. Josef Bloomfield
