Interpretation
- Commentary
- Much of the first name is covered by damage and cannot be read clearly. The final two letters of the second name seem to have been vandalised. The first of these is a deeply incised vertical line (l), with lighter diagonal scratches on either end, resembling a ʾ. The next letter is a cross (t) with a lightly scratched circle enclosing the shape. Josef Bloomfield
