Interpretation

Commentary
The inscription is difficult to read due to abrasion on the surface of the stone and patination of the inscription. There is space for one name and bn in the highly abraded area before byy. It is likely that the name here should be ʿwḏ as part of the genealogy has previously been attested in SSWS 163. The l and n in ḥdln are the same length. The names zdʾl bn ʾs²ll appear at the end of a number of genealogies published in OCIANA. It is nevertheless worth noting that if this reading is correct, the author uses two different shapes for the ʾ. Josef Bloomfield
