- Translation
-
By Ns²l son of Nṣr son of Mlk son of Qḥs² son of Ḥḍg son of {S¹wr} son of Ḥmyn and he pastured the camels and so O ʾlt [grant] spoils and [inflict] dearth of pasture [upon] he who effaces [this inscription]
Josef Bloomfield
Interpretation
- Commentary
- There is a third line alongside the s¹ of s¹wr, which makes the letter look like a ḥwr. Given that the genealogy is attested multiple times with the name s¹wr, this line is possibly a mistake, or a much longer l of l- ḏ. Josef Bloomfield
