Interpretation

Commentary
The inscription is on a stone with a number of long inscriptions, most of which are difficult to read in the photographs. Unfortunately, the photographs are taken at an angle and are therefore blurred at the end of genealogy. There is a large area of damage directly after the apparent h- ʾ, at the side of which it is possible to see the top of a possible ḍ. A shape that looks very much like a ḏ protrudes from the damaged area but this is almost certainly a leg of the felid rock drawing. The inscription is once again legible above the damaged area. An inscription by the author's brother (BES20 1673-1674) is carved on the same stone. Josef Bloomfield
