S¹ll was in need so may the hand of {S¹mh} be upon him...

Interpretation
- Commentary
-
ʾḥwg: A variant verbal form of the formulaic element ḥwg(t), perhaps 'need' or 'want'.
s¹mh: Context suggests this is a divine name, probably related to the Dumaitic bs¹mh and the theophoric element in the toponym s¹mhrm 'Sumhu (his name) is high.'
