Interpretation

Commentary

Macdonald (2018: 236) interprets the text as Thamudic B, but the shape and orientation of the d glyphs resemble much more closely Thamudic D. There are no diagnostic letter shapes. He interprets the form wddt as a first person singular suffix conjugation, wadadtu. It is also possible to interpret it as a nominal form.
