Interpretation

The optative verb s¹mʿ 'to give ear i.e. hear the prayer of someon' is attested across Arabia. Its presence here could imply that ġbr is a divine name, but confirmation must await further attestations, especially since the inscription is extremely weathered. The readable text is open to speculation.
