Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus

Hayajneh and Harahsheh 2025: Trans. '...so he returned to the watering place Ṭrd.'

Commentary

ṭrdThis is the infinitive complement of the verb ṣyr, meaning 'to hunt.' Places of water will attract animals and therefore it makes good sense to frequent these areas for game.
