Interpretation

Commentary

This short text of four glyphs is hard to interpret. The reading is clear but it does not produce anything meaningfull if we understand it as a single word. For the moment, we suggest parsing it as a two name geneology without the use of br 'son'.

ṭqThis is the Mehri and Jibbali word for the wild fig tree, ṭayq, ṭēq (Johnstone 1987, 414).

zdThe common Arabian name zayd, zēd.
