Interpretation

Commentary

ḥdʾl: Elistic name attested once in Safaitic.

ʾwhm: This name could be interpreted as an ʾafʿal pattern of the root whm or a fawʿal pattern of the root ʾhm. This inscription exhibits a stray /h/ whose function is unclear. Cf. KMG 149-151.
