Interpretation

Commentary

wddt: This expression is common in Thamudic C and some varieties of D. It seems to be a nominal form of the verbal root wdd 'to love, greet.' It is also possible to interpret it as a first person singular form, wadadtu, but in other situations such a grammatical interpretation is impossible.
