nʿmt ʿn: This expression should be compared to Quranic qurratu ʿaynin 'coolness (comfort, delight) of the eye' (Q 28:9), meaning 'joy' or 'pleasure.' The term nʿmt then should be compared with Classical Arabic naʿmatun 'pleasure, joy, delight' etc.
To the left of the column appears to be a symbol, perhaps a tribal mark. It is tempting to read it as the adverb rb 'much', but the initial mark is difficult to understand as a Thamudic D r.
