Interpretation

Commentary

The author seems to have attempted to write this text three times, succeeding only in the third column on the right. Another interpretation might read a longer text here: 'a heart longing for life is a living heart' lubbat ʿāšiqat li-ʿayš lubbat ʿāšat. Until such an expression appears again, this adventurous interpretation will be dispreferred.
