Interpretation
- Commentary
- The shallow mark before the second name might be a ʿ. The first name has not been found before and is of an unusual form since name beginning with the particles b- and k- in Safaitic almost always end in -h. For ʿẓyt cf. Ar. ʿiẓāya/ʿaẓāya “a kind of lizard” (Lane 2088b). The second name is also unattested but cf. s²qlt.
