Translation
By {Whb} son of ʾs¹ son of ʾlwn and he came to water at Nmrt and {his thirst was satisfied}

Interpretation

Commentary
For qṣb compare Classical Arabic quṣūb "the satisfying of thirst by coming to the water" (Lane 2528c).

Provenance
Unfortunately, the Safaitic Epigraphic Survey Programme was unable to locate the site of Qabr Nāṣir and it does not appear in Geonames. The co-ordinates given here are therefore those of al-ʿĪsāwī.
