Interpretation

Commentary
H. Hayajneh and M. I Ababneh (2015) read ʾlh h-fls¹ as ʾlh h-ġs¹n but this was shown to be impossible by Al-Jallad and Macdonald 2015 where the reading of the whole inscription given here was proposed and it is argued that the god h-Fls¹ was the deity al-Fals of the tribe of Ṭayyiʾ.
