Interpretation

- JaS: ġhmn (or khmn or zhmn) for khmn f s¹ḫl f dyt "and he got hold of the ransom" for fhḫl{f}dyt
- Commentary
- The k of khmn is not certain . The letters fh after Khmn sugest the beginning of an invocation. However the letters which follow on Jamme's copy produce little sense and in the absence of a photograph it seems safer to leave them uninterpreted. Jamme's reading of the ḫ as a s¹ is untenable.
