Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- HaNSB translation of f rwḥ bʿls¹mn "and grant relief from adversity, O Bʿls¹mn" (fa-ʾariḥ yā Bʿls¹mn)
- Commentary
- The absence of the vocative particle, along with the VS word order of the suffix conjugation, indicates that the verb is an optative, rather than an imperative. The edition does not translate bʾṣh---- either. It might be a toponym following the preposition b-, "at ʾṣh----"
