Interpretation
- Commentary
- There is a dot in the copy between the s² and r of the second divine name and it is possible that it is extraneous and the name should be read as ds²r however the same letters occur in HaNS 363 where the reading is clear on the photograph. Both texts have zig-zag s²'s and should probably be classed as "Mixed" although in this inscription there are no other diagnostic letters. The word ġrt is likely a defective spelling of the more common ġyrt "blood-money [vengeance]."
