Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- HCH: ḏ- ʾl for ḏ- ʾ[l]. JSafN 32 p. 44: as HCH and then bn nṭlḫ ḏ ʾfṣ "bn nṭlḫ him of fʾṣ".
- Commentary
- There is no available photograph of the inscription. The second letter of the third name is two vertical lines with a horizontal going across the top which does not resemble the shape of any letter in the Safaitic alphabet. JSafN is correct to point out that there is no l following the ʾ and it has been left out either by the copyist of the author of the inscription. In the copy there is no space for the letter between the ʾ and the f.
