Interpretation

- KnGQ 4 translation: "when he traveled on a/the pilgrimage"
- Commentary
- The return to permanent water (ṣyr) normally occurred in the period of ṣyf (early summer) or beginning of qyẓ (dry season). This text may therefore suggest that the change of seasons was celebrated with a pilgrimage to a shrine (Al-Jallad 2022: 42).
