Text Information

Siglum
ZeGA 2
Transliteration
l yġṯ ḏ- ʾl ʿmn s¹lm
Translation
By Yġṯ of the lineage of ʿmn [may he be] secure

Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus
ZeGA 2: s¹lm "Greetings!"
Commentary
The top parts of the second and third letters are not visible in the photograph although the letters are quite clear in the copy. The tail of the s¹ is not drawn on the copy. It seems likely that there are further letters after the second m. The word s¹lm at the end of the text seems to be an imitation of Nabataean graffiti which very often begin or end with šlm.
