- Commentary
- Damascus Museum 17749.1 (= AKSD 3.1) is on the other side of this piece. There appears to be a short horizontal line at the top of the vertical of the ġ, but on close inspection this seems to be an extension of the chip near it. Ġrt appears to be a variant of ġyrt "bloodwit, or abundance" (Al-Jallad & Jaworska (in press) under ġyrt).
