- TEXT Line 1. Jaussen & Savignac followed by Grimme, Caskel, van den Branden and Al-Qudrah: ʾrs¹wd rather than ʾrs¹ʿd. Line 2. Grimme: [s¹]mn for fmn. TRANSLATION Lines 1–2. ʿbd, Caskel followed by van den Branden: '(he) made'; Al-Qudrah: '(he) made (the inscription)'. Line 2. fmn ʾl, Jaussen & Savignac: personal name; ʾl yḏlmh, Grimme: 'One should not dishonour the tomb'; fmn ʾl yḏlmh, Caskel: 'If one stings with the skewer, so he cuts off to him, ears and nose'; van den Branden: 'no body should erase there'; Al-Qudrah: 'and who dares to destroy it?'.
