TEXT Lines 1–2. Abū l-Ḥasan: ḥṭl for ḥṭl and ʾṭll h- ṭll rather than ʾẓll h- ẓll. Line 3. Abū l-Ḥasan: [m]l -h for ḫl -h. TRANSLATION Line 1. Abū l-Ḥasan: s¹b as verb 'to perform'; Sima, followed by Farès-Drappeau: s¹b as family name. Lines 1–2. ʾẓll h- ẓll, Stiehl: '(he) took care of the awning'; Al-Qudrah: '(he) constructed the awning'; Sima: '(he) covered the subterranean water-channel'; Farès-Drappeau: '(he) offered the sacrifice [of the female camel]'. Line 2. b- khl, Stiehl followed by Sima: 'by his abilities'; Al-Qudrah: 'professionally'; Abū l-Ḥasan: 'in the month Khl'; bʿd, Sima: 'in the direction of'; Farès-Drappeau: 'on behalf of'. Commentary
Line 2. The word divider is missing between bʿd and n. Line 3. The word divider is missing between f rḍ -h and w s¹. The preposition b- before the place name Bnʾl was omitted, cf. U 025/3.
