Translation: Mhrh son of Gdn of the lineage of Wṯmt performed the ẓll- ceremony for Ḏġbt and so favour him and his posterity

Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus: TEXT Line 1. Sima: mhlh rather than mrh. Lines 3–4. Abū l-Ḥasan: ʾṭll h- ṭll for ʾẓll h- ẓll. TRANSLATION Lines 3–4. ʾẓll h- ẓll, Sima: '(he) covered the subterranean water-channel'; Farès-Drappeau: '(he) offered the sacrifice'. Line 5. ʾḫrt -h, Farès-Drappeau: 'he has guided him'. DISCUSSION Hidalgo-Chacón Díez 2016: 128, for the divine name Ḏġbt.
Commentary: Line 5. The last letter of this line, h, does not place aligned with the last letters of lines above it.
